Danish Masters GP is part of the official ESF Masters Circuit and welcomes players of all levels from 35+

Whether you’re chasing medals or just playing for fun, we promise a tournament full of friendly vibes, great food, smooth organisation and plenty of free cake and fruit.

Matches are played on 10 courts (including one all-glass), and all players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches.

We love playing squash, but we also enjoy showing our guests our beautiful city and hence organise a Players Event on Sat eve that includes both sightseeing, dinner and drinks. And for those who arrive on the Thursday, we have a pre-event in Tivoli Gardens!

Oh – and according to the reviews from previous years, our homemade food is worth coming for.

Join us for an unforgettable evening in Frederiksberg.

We’ll kick things off with drinks by the castle, sail through royal gardens, and dine at a traditional Danish restaurant from 1858 (yes, “stegt flæsk” is on the menu – veggie options too).

Afterwards, we’ll raise a glass at Alléenberg – a local bar so old and quirky it’s nicknamed “The Psychopath.” (Drinks in the park + first drink at dinner are included.)

Thursday Optional Tivoli Night

In town early? Spend the evening with us in Copenhagen’s famous fairytale funfair, Tivoli.

We’ll walk the park together and enjoy dinner at Brdr. Price at 6pm.

Fully at your own expense – but we’ll aim for group discounts.

Food& drinks

In HerlevHjorten Squash we take great pride in serving great food!
In fact, many of the players who visit us, claim that it is the best on the
tour. We are of course very proud of this, and hope that you will join the
meals by signing up for the food package.

It will not be possible to add the food package after 26th May, as all food
is planned well in advance and freshly made.

Our little inhouse café will be serving drinks and snacks, but not food.
All tournaments at HerlevHjorten Squash offers free tea, coffee and cake.
It requires a lot of cake, but this is a gift from our club members to all our
guests.

Please note, that the club is not within walking distance of shops or restaurants.

Transport

For players who booked a transport package, transport will be provided from the arrival point on June 12th 2025, from 4pm and to departure point on
June 15th until 7pm.

Arrival/departure point must be Herlev train station or Copenhagen (CPH) airport.
Arrivals and departures outside the mentioned periods or to different arrival/departure point may expect to arrange their own transportation.

Arrivals and departures details (flight number and timings) must be communicated to the organizers at least 1 week before tournament start, for us to plan your pick-up.

There will be a shuttle service between Go Hotel Herlev (local tournament hotel), Herlev Station (for those who chose to stay in Copenhagen city) and
the venue for all who has purchased a transport package.

ABOUT

Matches:

All matches played will consist of the best of five games, under the rules of the WSF. All players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches. The Tournament Organisers will organise plate matches consisting of the best of five games. PAR 11 scoring with 2 clear points will be used.

Categories:

Men: categories for 35+ and for every 5 years (40+, 45+ and so on).
Women: categories for 35+ and for every 5 years (40+, 45+ and so on).

The TD reserves the right to amalgamate age groups if there are
insufficient entries to make a workable draw.
Players are only allowed to enter one category.

Seeding:

The seeding will be carried out by the Masters Committee Seeding Panel using the latest available results and ESF Masters Rankings valid at the closing date and in accordance with the ESF Masters Circuit Guidelines. The TD will be consulted about seeding of local players.
